The 6202ZZ from ISK Bearings is the deep groove ball bearing with metal shields on both sides, in a 15mm bore, 35mm OD and 11mm width. The ZZ shields use a non-contact design — there is a small gap between the shield and the inner ring, so they don't touch it. Compared with a contact seal (2RS), a non-contact shield does not generate seal-lip contact friction during operation. Whether it suits your case still depends on the actual conditions.
Because the shielding is non-contact, the ZZ mainly addresses solid, dust-type contamination; its ability to hold back fine liquids or high humidity applies under different conditions than a contact seal. It helps to confirm: the type of contamination in the environment (dry dust, moisture or oil), the operating speed, and the working environment.
