The 6005ZZ shares the same 25×47×12mm dimensions, with metal shields on both sides — a non-contact structure that keeps a small gap between the shield and the inner ring. Compared with a contact seal (2RS), the non-contact structure generates lower friction torque in operation; however, it does not block fine dust or liquids as tightly as a contact seal. Suitability still depends on the actual operating conditions.
When considering the ZZ version, it helps to clarify the type of contamination and the running conditions. You can first confirm: whether the particles in the environment are larger debris, or fine powder, moisture or fluids; the operating speed and temperature range; and whether lower running resistance is also a priority.
