The 6005 2RS shares the same 25×47×12mm dimensions, with rubber contact seals on both sides. The seal lip contacts the inner ring, giving tighter protection against dust and moisture than a non-contact shield (ZZ); however, the contact also creates higher running resistance and heat generation, which should be evaluated together in high-speed applications. Suitability still depends on the actual operating conditions.
The trade-off with a contact seal is between protection on one side and friction, speed and temperature on the other. You can first confirm: whether the level of contamination or moisture in the environment calls for a contact seal; the expected operating speed; and the working temperature range.
